3-day Natural Dyeing Workshop

Materials Fee: $60.00 (payable on the day of the class)
This workshop will cover everything from how to prepare skeins of yarn for dyeing, proper mordanting procedures, and how to work with earthues natural dye extracts.
Day one: We will make skeins using cotton, silk and wool yarns, then we will mordant our yarns.
Day two: We will dye reds (madder & cochineal), yellows (weld, pomegranate & myrobalan) and grey (cutch and logwood grey).
Day three: We will work with indigo to dye blue as well as over dye cochineal for a beautiful purple and yellows for brilliant greens.
There will be a 1 hour break for lunch.
Space is limited to 6 students.
Refund policy: Full refund if The Yarn Tree cancels. Full refund if you cancel 30 days before the start date for the workshop.
After 30 days you will only receive a refund if we can fill your space.
