Weld #1 Watercolor Paint
Weld #1 Watercolor Paint made the old-fashioned way - by hand.

The full pan is 1 1/8 x 3/4 x 1/4 (inches). The half pan is 3/4 x 1/2 x 1/4 (inches).
The Weld for this watercolor paint is grown in Occitania in the South of France. The plant is also known as Reseda luteola or Dyers Weed. The plants are grown under organic conditions, and dried without additional energy (simply thanks to the hot air of the South of France in summer). Weld is a very lightfast color.
The watercolor is handmade in small batches in my studio in Roanoke, VA.
I use only the finest Gum Arabic, Vegan Glycerin, Tupelo Honey, and Clove Essential Oil.
It is repeatedly mulled to have as little grain as possible. The combination of Gum Arabic binder, honey, and glycerin means the paint will flow easily. We add a little Clove Essential Oil as a preservative.
Please note this product is for use with watercolor papers - it is not for use in painting textile fabric!
