Aluminum Acetate

Aluminum Acetate is a mordant used in natural dyeing. It is refined from Bauxite and is sometimes called Alum Acetate.

Aluminum Acetate is used for mordanting cellulosic fibers - cotton, linen, bamboo, and rayon. It is the most efficient mordant to apply to plant fibers and will give you dark, rich colors.

• Use of a dust mask is recommended
