Madder Extract III

Madder Extract III is a red natural dye manufactured from madder (Rubia tinctorum L.) roots. Madder III has the highest content of natural Alizarin and will give you intense oranges and deep reds.

Madder is one of the oldest dyes, used extensively throughout Central Asia, Turkey, India.

• Requires a mordant
• Can be combined with other dye extracts
• Deep Orange to Deep Red colors
• Low-Temperature dye - not to exceed 160 F
• Add Chalk for Deep Red
• Use with Cochineal for True red
