Maya Blue (Bleu Maya, Azul Maya) for use in Cold Process Soap Making
This beautiful Maya Blue is made from natural white clay and organic Persicaria tinctoria (Japanese indigo).
Amandine and Laura of Le Champ des Couleurs grow Japanese indigo, along with other natural dye plants, in Southern France. They produced this Maya Blue specifically for use in cold processed soap making.
It can also be used to make paint for wood or paper.
It is not suitable for textile dyeing!
For soap, one dose between 0.5% and 8% of the pigment according to the intensity desired.
