Indigo Resist Printed Bandanas
$ 29.50
Using a 3000-year-old resist technique that originated in Nantong, China - Lan Yin Hua Bu or Blue Calico. Simply put, soybean flour is mixed with hydrated lime and water to form a paste; it is applied to the cloth, allowed to dry, and then dipped in an indigo vat. Once you are finished dyeing, the paste is scraped off the fabric, revealing the white of your design.
