The grape seed extract, from the Occitania region in France, is manufactured locally by upcycling by-products of the wine-making industry.
This 100% natural dye is prepared from the seeds of white grapes (Vitis Vinifera L). The plant tannins (condensed) are extracted with water according to sustainable processes and a circular economy. The extract contains 70% tannin!

Grape Seed Extract is appropriate to dye any type of natural fabric, with or without a mordant.

The colors that can be obtained are pinky-beige (no mordant or aluminum), grey in the presence of iron, and orange in the presence of titanium oxalate.

Grape Seed Extract provides good lightfastness.
