Madder Extract

Madder Extract is a red natural dye manufactured from madder (Rubia tinctorum L.) roots

Madder is one of the oldest dyes, used extensively throughout Central Asia, Turkey, and India.

• Requires a mordant
• Deep Orange to Deep Red colors
• Low-Temperature dye - not to exceed 160 F
• Add Chalk for Deep Red
• Add a little Cochineal for True Red
