• Color changer/Color  modifier with Cochineal and Madder
• Cochineal with Cream of Tartar will change to a true red
• Color brightener
• Works best with wool. alpaca, silk and other animal fibers
• It is seldom used with plant fibers
• Used with Alum (Potassium Aluminum Sulfate) to soften and protect wool fibers
